When would this have been poured? Just recently?

A few days ago the pad poured, the hole was dug the previous week.

As you can see on the other side there is also some new digging and marking going on.

Oh, I just checked and we have a thread for HP2: https://vibrantvicto...oreys-approved/

I had forgotten that.

Victoria architecture is cookie-cutter.

Hudson Place One has set a standard that not many others have - or will - achieve...not even the other Hudson buildings.

Just the other day someone wrote on our Facebook page that Black & White, Fifteen88 and Abstract's Oak Bay project "all look the same."

Yup.

G-Man, isn't that pic showing Yello on Yates? Either that or Shutters.

Correction: it's Shoal Point. Or the Reef.

Or the Janion.

Every new building looks the same.

I can't remember. I get lost wandering the streets with all these lookalike condos.

I like how some of the balconies are staggered. It breaks up an otherwise plain outline.

I agree. They seem to have figured out how to break up the potential monotony of the building.

I wonder how many people, who consider 7 their lucky number (the most popular), will buy a unit because of the '777 Herald St.' address.

Don't be so sure.

I think there are trees planted on most, if not all, of the staggered balconies. It's hard to make out most of them in the picture as they're small right now but you can see them in person.

At least one unit is already on the rental market. That was fast. Probably more to come. Looks good in photos.

There's been units popping up for a couple of months already.

1-beds have been going anywhere from $1700 to $2100 depending on square footage and floor. Saw a few 2-beds go for $2500-2800, I think those were the sub-1000 sqft units. Haven't seen the largest floor plan or the penthouses pop up on classifieds.

Have we got a price point and details?

$1950, 9th flr

1 Bedroom suite (~554sqft)
1 Secure Underground Parking included
1 Storage locker included
Includes all utilities except hydro
Secure bike storage area
Concierge service
Dry cold storage for deliveries and packages
Pet-friendly (upon approval)
11,000sq ft of amenities
Free telus internet for one year!

Looks good, but a bit small for my liking and too rich for my blood.

This is the first one I've seen post-completion. Wouldn't doubt that there have been pre-completion ads, though I can't fathom getting into one of those without being able to physically view the space.

I am trying to visualize 554 sq, feet. Is that fairly typical for a one bedroom downtown?
