"Hey Sweetie, date night....let's head out to Colwood for dinner"  said no one ever.

Actually.. I've done that to go out to Green Leaf Bistro or Original Joes.  Even did a run out to Browns Social House.

I've also taken to going to places in Saanich and Sidney, if available.  Much easier to access, and less worry about having to dodge the street detritus.

Those all sound like Langford, not Colwood.

"Hey Honey, date night...lets head out to the Sooke Harbour House" as an example

Admittedly I’ve found myself going to dinner on the Westshore a few times now. That’s where you end up going if the majority of the folks living out there setup an evening get together.

Or if you want to go to Mr. Mikes.  And I do. And I have.

"My opponent wants to build a parkade over a daycare - where your kids will be exposed to toxic car exhaust all day long" -  any other mayoral candidate

Gee...great message.  302K that don't live in the CoV but many are forced to work there.   To have their children facing diesel spewing buses and traffic because they are downtown?

Hey sweetie, date night.....let's not get spat at and head out to.......

...As downtown moves to the north, the city needs to build a new parkade and it has the perfect place to do this at Save On Foods Memorial Centre. The area to the north of the curling rink would be the logical choice and also creates an opportunity for the North Park neighbourhood. There is a need to expand the commercial space along Quadra Street, perhaps a new parkade with ground floor commercial could be built that would enhance the public realm while increasing the capacity of parking on the outskirts of town...

I am 100% in favour of this in my 'hood...so the CoV will likely never make it happen.

Careful parking out there, a syringe has been found in a ticket dispenser.

Note that the cops refuse to identify the exact location of the kiosk that had the syringe inserted. The one in the video is close to the HQ but it doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the area where the syringe was located.

Come on Mike, you do not want to add to the "stigma" by giving the actual location.  That would be like saying what street the store was robbed on, adding to the stigma of the area.

You don't need the ticket from the street kiosk anyways so don't put your hand into strange places.

Will a credit card receipt work for business purposes?

We have a $10 and under no need for a receipt for parking and cabs.
Predictive text and a tiny keyboard are not my friends!
