Clare St., off Oak Bay Ave. I've a feeling there are others around here
Some houses on Springfield Street and Russell Street in Vic West don't have driveways or a back lane.

I was going to say those fine brick houses on Pembroke near the Fernwood Community Centre, but for them I guess the back street actually functions as a back lane, so they have access from there.
On Albert Avenue near Jubilee Hospital there are some properties that stretch the definition of a driveway. The driveway = the tiny front yard, barely big enough to fit a vehicle in some cases.

G-man: the on street parking will be open to everyone but just like all the streets downtown you need to pay a fee to use it. Is a hundred or one hundred and fifty a month unreasonable for the rental of the space. The money can be used for everyone's benefit and we can afford more public bicycle valet services so that people need less cars to start with.

That’s going to impact renters by and large. Often it’s the residents of a secondary suite who park on the street.
For just the cost of a couple months parking, you can buy a bike instead!

Think of all the money the renters will save by getting rid of their car and buying a bike or taking a bus. They should be thankful

That’s Mr. Seventy Thousand to you.
I don't want to give anyone the impression that I'm questioning the validity of his post count, but let's just say dude checks in maybe once a week for five minutes, tops (and only when he's not away on vacation, which is rarely). It's normally not a good indicator when other people are constantly reminding you of the address of your own website.
But then again, I must concede his mastery of the irrelevant one-word reply:
"Wow"
"Cool"
"Sweet"
"Weird"
"Seriously?"
"Noice"
etc.

^^Yeah!
I must concede his mastery of the irrelevant one-word reply:
That's very amusing because it was 100% not scripted.

We have some renters near us who have to park on the street. Some of them are service people of some sort, electricians for example. I don't think a bike will suit them. One lady works all hours at a care home. Tons of people don't have much choice but to drive to work. I'll be alerting them to this proposed charge when I next see them.
