By the number of VicPD vehicles on the scene, I think they were prepared to find something worse.

Another self-entitled mattress cycling without due care and attention.

I think that is one of those green mattresses from the new U-Mattress program that the City of Victoria is rolling out....you just take the mattress to whichever park you want to sleep in and leave it there when you are done...

Good question but the REAL story is that there IS no story in the media that I can find.

I suppose the editors are sleeping on it.

You'd expect them to be jumping on it. Maybe the details were thin and they weren't comfortable because they didn't know how to cover it and they didn't want to add a lot of journalistic padding? I'm sure they were tossing and turning as they tried to figure out a way to frame the story. Something that hard would keep you awake at night.

If Mike K.'s plan for a VV-based eatery ever goes through then I expect that post to be up on the wall somewhere.

Speaking of barns the horse was last seen at Gorge and Jutland looking for a place to bed down for the night.

VPD will be on the scene once more looking for the night mare.

Mike said this over on the VV tech thread, but it was probably referring to the mattress debate on this thread

"It was actually a blanket ban for the 104"

Avoid Esquimalt Rd. heading into downtown...

The Santa Parade is causing a traffic mess at Esquimalt Rd. and Tyee Rd. as the police are blocking access to downtown over the JSB causing major backups along Tyee and Bay St.

Can we expect to see Santa fly in past your balcony?

The whole city is a mess. I had to drive from Burnside at Finlayson via Richmond to get to View, lol. At least I avoided gridlock.

See that video of the Santa sleigh float losing its brakes in the parking lot in James Bay and ramming someone’s car?

Jeepers!

A vehicle has hit the E&N railway bridge on Hereward Road in Esquimalt. The road is closed for now.
