Can anyone locate "Young's Café" ? We found this photo of our dad while archiving old photos. He's the sailor on the right and it looks like he is not too happy with having his photograph taken. The note on the back reads "Victoria BC,1942."

I wonder if it's Yates Street?

It would appear from looking at similar photos that the fellow(s) that took these pics and sold them would camp out around Yates and Douglas (Pusser's Corner). It's so hard to tell because most buildings surviving have had their ground floors completely remodeled.

The taller building in the far background could be the Permanent Loan Building which would make sense.
