VicNews apparently doesn't know the meaning of adjacent.

From the related TC article: http://www.timescolo...ilding-1.940775

Townline’s next project — Hudson Walk — will be built across Herald Street in place of the now-abandoned Radius project. Ilich said Townline will go to the city for a development permit for that site in the next few weeks.

“We have permits already but this will be a bit of a variance on what was previously approved,” he said, noting it will comprise a mix of rental, condominium and retail space.

Once that project is underway, Townline will focus on completing the Hudson District.

Plans for that final phase, called Hudson Place and likely to be completed in the next five to six years, are still in flux.

“You have to react to the marketplace,” Ilich said. “And we have the ability in our final phases to accommodate office, retail, rental and market condos,” he said.

Interesting to see the back face of the podium being painted. This suggests to me the future phases of this project are still a long way off.

Let's hope not. I wonder if the great views of the multiple pits and future construction will dampen rentals?

Nice looking building. Hopefully some good retail will continue in this phase and build on the interest driven by the public market.

Is that not the ramp to the undergound parking? If so it will always remain exposed.

Mobile crane is on the site right now, there's a couple guys climbing on the counter weights and a couple flat beds on Herold.

Looks like its coming down.

Thanks for the update.  I wonder if they read my post and said "dang, I knew we forgot something"

You are happy the crane is coming down, yet I am sad because to me it signals that we can expect no further development at this site in the near term.

I am happy the crane is coming down since they have no immediate plans to start the next phase here or across the street.  Leaving a crane up because "just maybe something could happen" is like saying I'll just leave the Christmas lights up since we will need them again in 12 months"

Anyone here can try developing in this economy, but my Christmas lights won't be coming out for awhile.

Their rental agent told me she was informed by the developer that no construction would occur for 2 years.

Anyone know how well this building is renting or what the rents are?  No one I know seems to know much about the status of this building

Starting at $1225 for a one bedroom. No idea how well the units are renting, though, but they are moving.

Know it all.

All along they have said rents start at $1225.  But not much more info.  They don't seem to have individual units listed on the free websites, which seems a bit odd.

Nice. Didn't know people were moving in. Any word on commercial tenants?
