There is a proposal to demolish the Beaver Lake Store at 4808 West Saanich Road.

The facade of the store would be retained and attached to the new building. The building would be two stories tall and 5600 sq feet with a vet clinic and retail on the ground floor and living space on the second floor.

The Saanich Director of Planning has recommended the application go ahead and that Saanich remove the Beaver Lake Store from the heritage registry.
