I would be fine with the dealerships if they were more just like stores you see in other city's with far less on site parking. Even the Volvo Dealership is slightly better in this regard.
Unfotunately that Volvo dealership is losing money hand over fist.

^Poorly managed.
Four service managers in the last four years.

Four service managers in the last four years.
Isn't that a Jimmy Pattison company? You'd think they'd know a thing or two about running dealerships.
I wonder why they keep going through service managers.

Those tracks look a mite bit rusty.
Well since they will likely never be used again it's not really an issue.

If Dockside ever builds their office towers across Esquimalt Rd, appearing to be 12-14 storeys in height, then this building may never see the sun again other than reflecting off of all the other structures.

It's not just you...but what can you do when the zoning is out of date... At least it's a nice, top quality dealership and a clean up of the zone...
A car lot is the wrong development for that site.
Residential would have been better, with an E&N railway station, a transit exchange and some shops on the bottom levels.
What a lack of foresight.

^^Why would you build a railway station when there are apparently no trains?
Trains or LRT, it is the END of the right of way, so why not provide room for a station. We should know within weeks if the feds will come up with some funding for the E&N.
