What fencing company are they using, should buy shares.

I guess bark mulch must be a native plant.

I think this a typo? Not sure you meant to include 'n' in fences..

Your suggestion isn't far off either.

I read that as "feces" but, lately, I guess that's also fitting.

The City of Victoria had to rent so many fence units in the past year or so, that they started their own fencing company.

I'm not kidding ... all the black fence in Centennial Square is owned by the City, and marked as such.

Splash park and more envisioned for Victoria’s Centennial Square

City to also consider adding a new swimming platform in the Gorge next year

Better question: How much money will be needed for extra security to make the latest cosmetic changes to CS worthwhile?

Why not have some social workers patrol the area?

I wonder what people thought of putting a splash pad in at the town and country mall redevelopment (uptown) at the time? When I went there as a kid the only thing I liked about it was the miniature train store.

Uptown doesn't have junkies and homeless encampments adjacent to their splash park.

The people who hang out in spirit square I'd hardly call a homeless encampment. And Pandora and quadra is further away from Centennial square then Regina park that had a fairly substantial encampment. Maybe by the time this has finished we will have moved the encampment to Langford.

Maybe we need to plop a few of those uptown kiosks to bring more people into the square.

I'd hardly call them people.
