Marko, thanks for posting updates!

The pictures began to look so similar to me haha. What happens after all the windows are in? Interior?

/\....yup should inject some badly needed life and energy into a block that badly needed it to; in addition anything built there couldn't have been but a huge improvement given that fugly mid-rise to the left in that picture.

That ugly little cuss of a building has "graced" that part of downtown for what (25-30?) years and used to exemplify for me everything that was messed up about CoV approvals in the past:

.....yep back then if it was 'tall' - its out! If it was modern - its out! If it was tall and modern then by God it was really out!!!! But....oh, wait, so this proposal is only kinda, semi-high(ish) in an inoffensive mid-rise kind of way? And indefensibly bland and unabashedly dull from an architectural design standpoint to boot? Sure....then by all means go right ahead and slap it up!!!!!!

Hard to believe the same city that brought us the crapulence of that horrific building also has given birth to Jukebox: I agree with Rob - for that location especially it is perfect. Here is to lots more perfection in the future....

Perfect until the wrap comes off and the RustOrange is revealed to the world. If you squint at Marko’s pic you can imagine how cool a stainless steel tone would look. Fantastic fit for the neighbourhood though, goes to show sometimes a mid rise can be more satisfying than a high rise..

Aren't we getting a taste of the orange between the windows on the back side? If so, that looks pretty sharp.

At least it does in moderation like that:

While one "Jukebox" is fine, I'd hate to see it start a trend of day-glow buildings that are twice as wide as they are tall throughout the region.

Get the proportions right but keep on pushing forward re: half-decently interesting architecture. In that pic above, it's the lowrise on the left and the Tara Apartments on the right that are the real misfits. Bland is bad.

The wraps would seem to be off a couple of the orange panels? The colour seems fine to my eye, though maybe a duller finish than I had hoped. Hard to tell until a bunch of them are revealed in all their glory.

I am hearing March for completion which still seems ambitious if they shut down completely over Christmas. And a model suite open in late January. Anyone hear anything different?

Seems discriminatory. Why should models get their suites earlier than everyone else?

Because they are fabulously good looking. That is not discrimimatory.
