Have we exhausted all possibilities re: a new homeless shelter?

No renovations needed just take the doors off.

I'm still hoping for it to become the Children's Museum. :)

I like the idea of a children's museum. It keeps them all in one convenient place where they are much less likely to disturb my peace & quiet.

You want all museums to be in one place so they don't disturb your peace and quiet?

If all of the children are in the children's museum, wouldn't they disturb your peace and quiet when you're also in the children's museum? Museums should be peaceful and quiet, right?

I suppose the children's museum could block off some "no children allowed" hours each day.

I thought a Children's museum is where they display the kids worth looking at...

Right, but the children on exhibit should be seen but not heard.

If they were all in one museum I simply would choose not to visit.

If they bring the wax children back you wouldn't need ear protection.

The wax in your ears should be protection enough. That's what it's there for.

So now we're waxing nostalgic about the maritime museum AND the wax museum?

Mother always told me I had sawdust in there.

...what about an expanded bug zoo?

Which expanded bugs did you have in mind?

Maybe somebody should take the bug zoo's interactive concept to the next level? Let thousands of expanded bugs* loose and then give patrons prizes for swatting them? You could call it the Whacks Museum.

*Just in case anyone is concerned about animal cruelty here, the reason you'd use expanded bugs is because they're much sturdier critters than regular bugs. A good swat would bounce right off them.

The oldest working elevator would come in handy re: taking it to the next level.
