OK, how about sorting the other way. Where can I get a good Pilsner in town. I'm aware of Stanley Park Pilsner (Garrick's Head and The Oyster) and Pilsner Urquell (Clive's). Other options? Bonus points for a sunny patio.

not sure on the pilsners, sorry.

We at Garricks Head have changed a few beers, will have the Granville Winter Ale on at the end of the week, we added stanley park amber, fat tug ipa, keepers stout is back for the winter. and we have the lighthouse cream ale for a limited time.
our Phillips seasonal is raspberry(last keg) then onto the ginger ale.

We are blessed. I remember when the only daring alternative to Blue or Canadian was Rickard's Red.

We are just about to change off the La Trappe from Holland for Brewdog IPA from Scotland. Only a few kegs of this so be fast.

Going back to the Pilsner question, Hoyne Brewing (Rock Bay) is now selling bombers of Hoyner Pilsner at local private stores. Also available in growlers from the brewery, Thurs-Sat 3-6 pm.

I posted the Pilsner question earlier in this thread.
I reserved several bottles of the Hoyner Pilsner when it was announced.
I drank said bottles when it was released.
I am happy.

we have switched out the Granville winter ale for the new Apricot Hef from O.K spring, will be bringing in V.I's Beachcomber hef, and will be switching strongbow to Rock Creek cider as strongbow's distribution rights have gone to molson along with a hefty price increase.

We are also pouring the Switchback IPA from lighthouse.

always new beer and new flavours here at Garrick's Head!

Sad to see it go; we really loved that vanilla flavour.

I was in Richmond recently, watching the Canucks in a somewhat divey sports pub. I saw they were featuring Fat Tug on tap and I thought "alas, an island of beauty in a sea of banality" and when the server finally noticed my presence I ordered a pint. After yet another long wait, she finally returned and said "the bartender just poured the last pint, it's sold out". Aaaaaaarrrrggggghhhhh...
