...Also heard from staff that Hallmark at the Bay Centre is closing in the new year.

I think they may be one of the last original tenants.

There is a Lululemon at Mayfair now also... or maybe always?

Looks like another retailer has filed for bankruptcy. They have a store in Uptown.

Surprised that so many chains are going under BEFORE XMAS. I can imagine what it will be like in Jan/Feb.

According to their website it's a seasonal store.

Looks like the new Fjällräven store at Government & Johnson opened up this weekend. Sharp looking spot.

There is a sign up in front of the Hallmark's in Broadmead Village that they are closing as well.

Good tip. Ya the staffer was mentioning something along the lines of either Hillside was closing too, or Hillside was the only one remaining open...I was only half listening.

Not sure if this is the right place for this but if you feel you were victimized by the great bread price fixing scheme by Loblaws you can register for your $25 gift card here :

I know I was victimized heavily by this scam. I'm sure everyone else was as well. You will still be able to sign up for any class action money later too.

Not everyone. The only scam might be in registering for a $25 gift card.

No the fine print will not bind you. Although that fine print has not yet been produced.

Lots of very, very fond memories of that space! Makes me a bit sad.

Staying with the "everything must go" theme...

Who's going to supply my Led Zeppelin posters, err, framed art now?

Actually, I didn't see a store closing sign and there was no one around to ask so it just might be another sales gimmick.

Sales gimmick confirmed.  They're still here.

Looks like they were a year off in the everything must go sale...
