at Hillside, yep, has been for a couple years. beside the food court
The purdy's at Hillside is further down from the food court. The one at Mayfair is right beside the food court across from the Tim Horton's

That's too bad about Crabtree and Evelyn. I quite like their products.

Perfect location, grab some chocolate gifts then head over to la senza and grab some other gifts. They just need a wine store for the perfect date night
you sound like the kind of guy that listens to "baby it's cold outside" often. or did listen to it before it was banned..

I was downtown today and I noticed that their Bay Centre store (adjacent to Starbucks on the mall exterior) is already liquidating...
I admit that I'm surprised that the company didn't make it through the holiday season prior to liquidating.

From https://www.cbc.ca/n...velyn-1.4930786
The company employs 123 full- and part-time employees in Canada and operates 19 stores, including 11 in Ontario, six in B.C. and one each in Alberta and Quebec.
The company says it has experienced "significant losses," which it attributed to changing consumer demand, the rise of e-commerce and long-term declines in traditional retail traffic.
The filings also show the company's assets consist primarily of $1.3 million in inventory and $300,000 in its wholesale accounts receivable.
The company says it has accrued $15.2 million in unpaid obligations, including $14.8 million in inventory-related costs and about $24,000 in employee vacations.

Opti Canada, an optometry clinic/retailer/whatever located in Westshore Town Centre, is opening a location in the Bay Centre downtown. They have a BP for unit 210, which was previously Rogers, I believe.

^The previous Rogers spot is becoming part of the new Winners. That's why Rogers moved.

The former Rogers space at Bay Centre does not become part of Winners

...I don't have anything against Winner, but c'mon. Exciting?

Waypoint Insurance (Yates/Quadra) go bye bye.
Something about consolidating with their Shelbourne location.

Hey by the looks of it, that's what I thought too, why else would Rogers move 4 or 5 doors down

The new Memory Express opened today. Dropped in there on my way home from work. In the space directly south of the Timmies.
Nicely renovated, a good size space - it looked as if there was more to the store that was blocked off, but not really walled away, so maybe temporarily. There were several employees working, and one told me that they currently only have about half the stock that they are supposed to have - it looked like a pretty good selection as it was!

Remind me again what "Memory Express" is?
(see what I did there? )
