Oh that's right! They closed down the one near Oak By Avenue, and the new location has a slightly different name: Yumbrosia.

Seaberry Garden and Flower will soon open a Cook Street Village location in the former fruit stand near Kay's Korner.

It's actually already open and looks very pretty. They have a lot of things in outdoor area.

Windows covered up and it appears renos underway at the former Willie's Bakery location at Johnson St/Waddington Alley.

There's a BP for non-structural interior strip-out, with a note that a BP for tenant improvements will be applied for separately. The waiting game begins

I noticed a "SOLD" sign on the empty storefront next to "Spank" on Government yesterday. It's been sitting empty for awhile.

Not exactly retail, but a retail space at Uptown between Flavour and Famous Footwear appears to be becoming an HSBC bank.

An unusual retail concept will be opening in the former Pizza Zone near Cook and North Park. The store will be called "Canna Can" and, although I don't fully understand the concept, my understanding is that it will be some kind of facility that allows customers to store their cannabis. The slogan on the building read, "Time Capsule Your Cannabis!"
