Yes, they're negotiating with another tenant but it'll be a month or two before the lease is finalized and it's a done deal.

When Field’s Shoes closes its doors on July 31, it will bring to an end more than a century of shoe sales at 1300 Government St. in the historic Adelphi building.
It will also mark a new beginning for the 1891 heritage-designated property as buyer GMC Projects Inc. draws up restoration plans to “breathe new life” into the corner of Yates and Government streets, chief executive Jordan Milne said Friday.

I got 2 great pairs of Rockport slip-ons at Winners for $50 each. Different styles, comfy as can be, durable as hell and they look just fine. You have to look but good stuff can be found there, cheap.

The Wet Cleaner has opened a second location in Fairfield Plaza in the former shoe repair shop...
Oh no, is the shoe guy gone? We've had several pairs repaired there, didn't know he was gone.

Squeaky's Laundromat is for sale. Currently owned and operated by a mostly absent owner this Shelbourne Street fixture is awaiting a new owner. For an owner who chooses to work at the store there are substantial profits to be made.

It would appear as if Baggins is doing some sort of reshuffle. Their warehouse at 1010 Yates (behind Moxies, next to Status Barbershop) is up for lease. They currently base their online supply chain and physical storefront restocking out of this location.
