Don't forget that tonight is the annual IEOA Christmas light truck parade. Leaving Ogden Point at 5:45 and winding through the city out to Western Speedway.

What a fun event!! This is the 3rd year that we've fully experienced the parade, great enthusiasm from the 'truckers' and the crowds definitely enjoyed themselves.
Was it just me or did the trucks seem to moving along Oak Bay faster than usual? Even though it was cold out, we were looking to savour the event a little longer as per previous years.
Regardless, great way to get into the Holiday Spirit!!

The lighted truck parade is enjoying some salt water spray, I predict some new Christmas lights next year

They probably didn't think they were signing up for the Sea Of Lights Boat parade

Oops, looks like the wind knocked one of the large figures/ornaments off the top of the Metalcraft truck and is just being dragged along.

Apparently the Reindeer tied a rope to Santa's legs and pushed him out the back, he had just serve them with layoff notices, apparently Dog sleds are more efficient, twitters a buzz.

I thought that was deliberate when I saw that!

It was supposed to be a traffic cone and it was definitely deliberate.
