I bought a new '08 3 sport 2-1/2 yrs ago (never had the door kicked in).
At the time I went through a broker, but then the economy was better and the 3 was pretty popular, so dealerships didn't have to try hard to sell them. I read where they probably would have outsold Honda Civics if the factory could have made more.

BTW, ask for Joe, he's my brother in law.
I echo others comments that service is reasonable there. (I've owned VW's before, so I'm comparing them to Speedway)
