Anyone knows the good restaurants in victoria? I would like to have a try.
The Fernwood Inn is pretty good...but then, I am super biased. We've got a Groupon going on, which is a great low-risk/low-cost way of trying out a new restaurant. http://vibrantvictor...44&postcount=99.
Depending on what you're in the mood for, I'm big fan of Ferris's, Brasserie Ecole, and Pagliacci's. For lunch, again Pags but also Paradiso di Stelle in Bastion Square and Italian Deli. I would also check out Pescatores, Nautical Nellie's or the Marina for something a bit more up-market.
For take out, you can't go wrong Foo and Little Thai Place.

Ended up going back with my wife a few days later for dinner and both our meals plus the service was superb.
Smugglers Cove for bar food is great, for fish and chips we discovered this hole in the wall out Shelbourne past Feltham beside the Starbucks. Been there a few times over the last year and its been good every time.

An administrator is starting yet another restaurant recommendation thread?
How lucky can you get?

My wife & I like Il Terrazzo for a leisurely late lunch after the business crowd has left. They don't do lunch weekends though so we rarely get there... A little pricey for us at dinner but great value at lunch.
Agree 100%, one of the best places in town for a nice lunch.
Consistently good food and service for years and years and a nice room.

I was there a few a months ago for lunch and I'll say one thing, they are consistent. Then my cellphone rang. It was 1995. It asked me to tell the floor manager that it wanted its menu, decor and ambience back.

^ That link didn't work but you really can't tell the difference between a pub and a restaurant Bob?
The link probably doesn't work because it's over six months old. As for restaurant vs pub, I know what the difference. I think the significance here is that a pub-style restaurant beat put bona fide pubs.

I would put Swans and Matt's pubs high on the list solely because they have yet to fully give in to the obnoxious wall-to-wall TVs displaying the dregs of the sports industry.
