Yet also a true post! Top Pot in Seattle is awesome, and no one would eat a stale thawed out old Tim Hortons puck after they had tried a Top Pot donut.

Actually, start working out now because Union Doughnuts is slated to open somewhere downtown this summer. Think Seattle's Top Pot, S.F.'s Voodoo and NYC's Dough doughnut shops as inspiration.
I can hardly freakin' wait!

Unless there is a ripoff place in SF, Voodoo Donut is from Portland Oregon.

Egad, donuts? Good luck competing with Tim Hortons. They have been steering away from that stuff over the past few years, but I imagine they could ramp up again if there is enough interest from those who need to gain some weight.

If this new place is like Voodoo Donut then the comparison between Tim Hortons would be between choosing to go for a good dinner at Denny's or Sooke Harbour House.
