Sounds like a delightful balance to me.

Some interesting articles on the site, the one about Denmark banning marmite is kinda mind-boggling.

It's similar to Vegemite, makes a great sandwich, and you can hear about it in the song "The Land Down Under"

Hardly similar, Marmite is is like Vegemite without the finesse or flavour. Sort of like calling Orange Crush a citrus fruit

The whole marmite/vegemite thing makes me very proud to be a Canadian. I just can't imagine trading peanut butter for that goofy stuff.

The freaky thing in Aus is that their Vegemite comes in the same jars we get Kraft Peanut butter in here, the ones that are shaped like a sitting bear. Hard to believe anyone could go through that much yeast extract in a lifetime

I've never seen peanut butter in a jar shaped like a sitting bear.

Kraft had them for years, I have not looked for them lately as I do not eat their stuff. They are about a 2 pound size. Seems they no longer sell them

this is a peanut butter jar

This is a Vegemite jar

All's not quiet on the American HuffPo's western front...

HuffPo Employees Flee AOL After "Brutal" "Awful" "Worst Few Weeks"
By Glynnis MacNicol
http://www.businessi...5#ixzz1NS3RuhQ1

Since Aol purchased the Huffington Post from Arianna Huffington in February for $315 million most of the subsequent coverage has focused on the widespread layoffs of Aol employees; the hiring of experienced reporters (many of whom are notably from the NYT, but more on that later); and Arianna's verbal tete-a-tetes with NYT managing editor Bill Keller.

Know it all.

Verizon is selling HuffPost to BuzzFeed, as part of a deal that will see Verizon become a minority shareholder in BuzzFeed. The two companies will also partner on content and advertising. Verizon acquired HuffPost when it bought AOL in 2015.

The above is a coming home story, as the founder of BuzzFeed was a co-founder of Huffington Post.

Definitely shows that the Huff Post's ability to get ahead of a story will be missed.
