Anyone heard rumours going around that there may be a Hooters or Hooters "themed" bar opening somewhere in Langford? I saw an ad in Used Victoria looking for dancers, but nothing official seems to be out there.

Last time I checked Hooters didn't employ "dancers"!

The ad for dancers made it seem like some sort of theme bar, maybe more like Coyote Ugly. Unless, of course, Monty's is just moving to the Westshore.

Why am I not surprised? And recruiting dancers on Used Victoria yet? Sounds like it will be a class act.

Didn't someone mention that the owners of Monty's could relocate to the west shore when the Victoria Plaza Hotel building is redeveloped?

Know it all.

Yeah, but I took that with a grain of salt. I can't see Stew Young letting an establishment like that into the "Village".

Unless he's got money in it. The one thing disturbs me the most about Langford Council is that they don't exist. SY is the final and only say into just about everything Langford.

It's not always in the hands of the locals:

Unless the format changed Hooter's has never offered up dancers, at least not in the Pensacola FLA or Vancouver outlets I frequented years ago. Didn't offer much in the way of decent food either, although of course that was never the point :D. Nonetheless Victoria certainly won't be missing anything of substance, assuming this rumor is incorrect......

This thread is useless without pics.
