The "Loghouse" brews were available at the BeerFest and they had one (Spruce Tip Sour) at The Drake...only they're under the name "Axe & Barrel":

^But that land they are on is zoned commercial so they are worth some big bucks. Within 5 years they will all be gone.

The log house pub is now called the Axe and Barrel its still owned by Ron Cheeke its in a residential neighborhood and currently over 120 rental units are being built right next door. The Axe and Barrel will surely be a destination for the new apartment buildings and with in walking distance as they are next door to each other

It was fine doing great but I guess Ron thought he could get more money from it by adding a brewery.

In the summer they have some pretty good outdoor parties there with  outdoor bands. No bikers at the Red Lion on those days

It's back!

New owners restore The Log House to its roots

Menu offers pub fare at an “affordable price,” says Ross Clark

A familiar face has returned to the West Shore.

The Log House re-opened on Millstream Road in Langford earlier this month and is an ode to the beloved pub that was popular in the ’80s and ’90s.

“At the end of the day, you have to know who you’re catering to,” said long-time West Shore resident and new owner Ross Clark.
