I'm looking forward to seeing what the facade of the new wing will look like. It's the area behind the blue tarp.

THE TARP IS OFF!!!

The facade is red brick and glass. Looks sharp.

Yeah now they just have to pour the floor for the garage and they will be set. Seems weird to pour a garage floor last but anyways.

G-Man lives in North Park. G-Man should have his camera handy the next time he strolls by.

Thanks buddy.

I had no idea there was that extension being put in as well.

How close to completion would you say it looks?

^ Tricky question. They could most likely go all out and finish in a month but I suspect with the sidewalk still to go in on Mason we will see final completion in July.

Is the ground level there just a big vehicle entrance?

Yes, though no underground parking just a level parking lot going to the back of the lot.

Hi all,

Anyone know anything about the palladian? My brother is considering buying a place there (cost of mortgage is less than his rent) but there still seems to be a lot of places for sale there (almost half the units) and parts of it (the lower level, which I think was supposed to be office space?) are still unfinished. I've also heard some people say some unkind things about the developer.... Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I would have a good inspection done before buying. However the location is great and if the unit is in the old portion of the building than probably pretty unique.

Thanks for the info ... I guess that's probably a concern parking anywhere downtown that isn't secure though. Any idea why there are still so many units for sale? They started selling when the condo market was HOT and it's a pretty cool building. But they still seemed to have a problem selling....any ideas????

The interiors are finished with a rustic wood/wrought iron theme which is a contrast to the other new condos in town with their more modern themes. I think this is a plus for those not attracted to standard high rise decor. The neighbourhood has some challenges but I think this will be a desirable address.

Boy would I love to buy in that building. I do have to sell far more pens and pencils to afford it however!!
