vichockeyfan thanks for the endorsement.

I must say as I campaign, I am certainly hearing not the Dean Team. People are frustrated about how the Blue Bridge was handled. The discussion started in the face of Federal Grant monies, council debated its way through that and on for months, finally holding a referendum at great expense. We are being told "Council do your job". People are angry over a lack of transparency with a large number of issues being handled behind closed doors. Suddenly, besides a huge captial expenditures on sewage treatment always looming in the background, or, a wish list for light rapid transit, people are learning about required expenditures on Crystal Pool and / or the Firehall. They are not happy. It is obvious one of the first orders of the day is for council to get the City finances in order.

When I filed my nomination papers, I did so because I was so frustrated with City Hall. I did not know whether there was any chance at all with 8 incumbents running. However from the comments we are recieving on the campaign, we see an electorate seeking change at City Hall.
