Well the two buildings are made of brick, so yes almost an exact replica.

That's a good catch... That is a much more interesting building. I agree with you, stuff that should not of been torn down has been. BUT... unfortunately our city has decided to not maintain, stucco over, or just let go

Has this been posted here before?

I've heard that BC Investment Management Corporation will be a tenant here, as will some IT business(es).

Habit Coffee also, in addition to, rather than instead of, their Atrium location....not sure whether this is a relocating of their Chinatown location, or an additional one).

I am confused...

How can someone make this kind of statement "factually"?

"The recent surge in Vancouverites securing Victoria’s high-end luxury real-estate..."

I am referring to the Vancouverites comment? How can you say you know who is buying what, without someone disclosing information?

Of course someone provided that information. Where else would it have come from?

"The Lower Mainland represented the second largest pool of buyers with 7.42% of market share, or 600 total sales. The volume was a near-doubling of 2014's 367 transactions." - http://victoria.citi...ia-real-estate/

2015 was a very strong year for Vancouverites cashing out of Vancouver and buying into Victoria. 600 sales is a significant volume of transactions. That trend continued last year, too. I'm sure if you ask for the information Marko could even provide you with current statistics on buyer origin.

The owner of Habit told me directly today that neither Habit is closing and he's certainly not opening a new one in 1515D/750P.

^ That info was from someone who provides services to Jawl buildings, so presumably with an ear to those around those developments.  Sounds like it's wrong info then, if Habit says no.  That's why I prefaced my comment with "I heard..."

For sure, did not mean to suggest you had mislead.  I just wanted to check the info so I spoke to Shane direct.  That's the only reason for bold bold emphasis, not to give anyone heck.

You know it's a busy construction scene when the shorter crane on the Douglas St side was taken down yesterday and nothing was said on Vibrant Victoria.

Oh wait, I just did.
