It was piled eight feet high from plowing the parking lots after the last snowstorm. They got hit pretty hard.

39 Years Ago Today: The Big Ba-Boom

Thirty-nine years ago today, Mount St. Helens erupted in a rare lateral blast, and changed volcanology forever.

I’ve fired up the stove yet again. It’s cold. It’s May 25th, raining and kinda dreary. Meanwhile EnviroCan’s weather app is telling me it’s sunny.

Classic 1919 discrimination I’ll have you know “a friend“ ran out last night

Most people aren’t using the stove to heat their house anymore i’m just saying.

The weather app on my computer tends to be more accurate.

Depends on where you live. Out my way 90% of people do, with many also using propane as a secondary source of heat and electricity as an absolute last resort.

You have to use the Windows app - looking out the window at the actual conditions :)

I don’t associate with people who don’t have a natural gas line.

OK I’m actually just jealous of wood burning heat maybe I’ll use a match in my bong(bongs are for kids intellectual people smoke joints)

Yup I lit the fire this afternoon as well! Poor guy across the street is up on his roof clearing his gutters, guess he must have a leak.

This will be good for the reservoir and the streams

17.3mm at Esq High, while 7.1mm at the closest station to the reservoir. What a massive discrepancy.

Up in the hills it’s no doubt wetter than down below, though, but the city is getting poured on!
