How about the old Second Slice, on Douglas? They've moved a block or so down (up?) the street, and maybe the old location is available.

Just noticed on my way back from Pig(love that pulled pork bbq!) that Sabri's Naanwich is opening a new place right by Stampers! on Quadra between Kings and Hillside, west side of the street. It's across from the Fairway Market.

Every once in a while, I will torture my husband by reminding him we live a world without Naanwich. Then I figured I could probably make them at home. Does anyone remember the vegetables offered? I think it was the typical Subway selection, but I also used to have red cabbage on mine so there were some additional options and I feel I'm forgetting something. I dream a dream of Chef Omar's Naanwich resurrection.
