Okay here's another quest for a favorite food item. What I'm looking for is a good Chinese place that serves Schezwan Beef or Schezwan Chicken.
Several places have it on their menu, but it's always the mish mash of stir fried vegetables with strips of beef or chicken in a bland sauce.
I'm looking for the stuff that is very spicy and the beef or chicken is crispy and the sauce is that delicious plum or ginger sauce with the small red peppers in it and there are no vegetables mixed in with it.
I'm looking for the hot and spicy meat/sauce dish that tastes good. I've seen and eaten ginger beef at a few places and that is somewhat similar to the dish I'm looking for.
Can anyone point me to the place to go that has the dish I'm looking for?

The best place I know of in town is on Caledonia Street across from the Police Station. East Garden Schezuan I believe it is called
Their Ginger Fried Beef is amazing and the prawns are excellent as well.

G-Man's got it: Szechuan, 853 Caledonia, 384-0224. The restaurant is quite plain (more like a cafeteria than a dinner place), but the dishes I've had from there have been really good. Take-out/ delivery menu prices are low; the little chilies next to an item indicate whether it is spicy or not. I'm sure they'd accomodate even more spiciness, if you so specified. They do some moo-shi style dishes, too...

Szechuan House, I think it's called. The seven?-treasure chicken is delicious (I can't remember how many treasures are in it) and so is their chicken fried rice. I also second the ginger beef. Goooood food.
