Man Select Your Tickets is a crappy site.

Yup, thanks. I guess their site is just extremely busy at the moment.

All said and done it works out to $63.50 per ticket. Still not bad considering how well organized the event will likely be and the volume of food+drinks you can indulge in.

I've clicked submit and have been waiting for credit card processing to complete. It's been about 5 mins now. Technology exists that does away with this sudden slow down when a server gets swamped. Select Your Tickets should get around to finally dealing with this nonsense.

Thanks for the heads up, Z!

...so I didn't get the tickets. No matter which credit card I use I get a "problem authorizing credit card" error.

Something's wrong with their system.

The last time that happened to me, my card had been compromised and the card cancelled. Thank goodness they're on their toes.

Totally, thanks again!

@Bingo, the transaction went through eventually so I've chalked it up to a busy server.

I don't think the SYT system is normally bad. I mean, as popular as BatB is, SYT has put on sale 15,000 Elton John tickets all at once, and the system worked fine, the shows sold out in an hour.

Looking at the tickets I just realized that this year's event is from 1PM-4PM. Last year it was 12PM-5PM. Meanwhile ticket prices jumped from about $20 to over $60 with the fees.

There seems to be quite the contingent from VV going to this event. We'll have pictures :)

Last year was $35. Hopefully they sold less tickets this year. I hate when Phillips is overcrowded, like at Rifflandia.
