I like that bit about how he has witnessed Vancouver and Toronto firsthand. So I guess that makes him quite an expert. You know, because nobody else has witnessed Vancouver and Toronto firsthand.

And because those places are so filled with life-destroying highrises that no lives in either city any more.

Yup. In fact YVR is projecting another million+ residents in the next 25 years in the greater regional area. I can only conclude as a consequence that it must be a horrible place to live....you know......in spite of routinely being voted year after year after year as the most livable place on the planet. Funny not that I think of it but I've yet to ever see View Royal or Central Saanich or Metchosin on that list....

I've been spending a lot of time there recently and I could have sworn there was lots of light readily discernible at Kits Beach, SW Marine Drive, Yaletown, Granville Island...you name it and *PRESTO!* there it was...LIGHT!!! Well except at night of course when it was...you know...dark. Yep day after day I kept seeing this huge yellow orb in the sky utterly bathing me in light, "tall" buildings notwithstanding. Odd how in spite of all those skyscrapers it never seemed to be an issue....

In this town Rich there is probably a 50/50 chance they don't print it - does't fit the prevailing narrative, lol.

So the irrational Victoria "height hate" has been going on for more than a century. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
