It's amazing how fast the wood-frame portion of this project has gone up. Most of the north and east sides are now at full height.

Looming over Mason Street and casting it in perpetual icy shadow, you mean?

Oh for sure. As I walked past yesterday afternoon around 3:00 PM the shadows were so intense at first I thought a previously unannounced solar eclipse must be taking place (sarcasm font)

I'd join the NPNA, but I couldn't bear to be the lone voice of reason among the cacophony of SJW screeching.

This is now a single crane project. The red crane is gone and only the taller, green crane remains.

Right! I saw them taking apart the crane this morning.

The residential portion of this project above the future Save-on-Foods location is now underway. My guess is the basic structure should be completed by this summer.

Can you grab some photos some time, Nparker?

As you requested...

It's a bit hard to read in this crop of the above photo, but this signage confirms Save-on-Foods as the major tenant.

Who are the retail tenants aside from Save-On, BC Liquor Store, and Starbucks?

Have any other tenants aside from Save-on-Foods been officially announced? The above sign says "JOIN save-on-foods".

The CRU site plans going around list the corner unit on Vancouver Street as "Bank." No tenant name, though.

It would be awesome for me (based on the financing sign above) if it were Coast Capital.  :)

The only official words was last year when the Liquor Control Branch said that they were not opening a location at BlueSky.

But how many times have we heard no, only to get a yes in the end.
