It's amazing how fast the wood-frame portion of this project has gone up. Most of the north and east sides are now at full height.

Oh for sure. As I walked past yesterday afternoon around 3:00 PM the shadows were so intense at first I thought a previously unannounced solar eclipse must be taking place (sarcasm font)

This is now a single crane project. The red crane is gone and only the taller, green crane remains.

The residential portion of this project above the future Save-on-Foods location is now underway. My guess is the basic structure should be completed by this summer.

Have any other tenants aside from Save-on-Foods been officially announced? The above sign says "JOIN save-on-foods".

The CRU site plans going around list the corner unit on Vancouver Street as "Bank." No tenant name, though.

The only official words was last year when the Liquor Control Branch said that they were not opening a location at BlueSky.
But how many times have we heard no, only to get a yes in the end.
