Speculation of a burner account
Many have speculated online, too, that Musk’s motive is rooted in claims that he is running a burner super-fan account.
Internet sleuths have been suggesting that the Space X CEO is behind an account — operating under the name Adrian Dittmann — that heaps praise on him.
Musk has denied being Dittmann — and mocked people who claimed he’s operating the alt account.
Deepening the mystery, Dittmann appears to be a character who operates only on X — there is almost no evidence of a person with that name operating outside the social media platform.
Musk added fuel to the fire by retweeting a post from the Dittmann account on Tuesday that mentioned the Kekius Maximus saga.
“Imagine you’re a journalist writing about Elon on X and it goes: ‘Elon Musk, aka Kekius Maximus, on X…,'” the Dittmann post read.

Kek:
“Kek is the deification of the concept of primordial darkness in the ancient Egyptian Ogdoad cosmogony of Hermopolis.”
If you look at the image in that link, it’s a deity with a frog’s head. Pepe the Frog says “kek” when he laughs, or something like that? I don’t know the full meme history.
Kek, in other words, is the god of darkness, and generally bad things.
What is Musk really up to?
It’s a 4chan meme. In the 2016 election when Hilary called them a basket of deplorables, the alt-right 4chan/pol users came together to use ‘meme magic’ to push Trump into presidency. It might have been the thing that tipped the scales in his favor. Really, it was a thing to witness at the time.
Iirc Pepe the frog was an outgrowth from the Foul Bachelor Frog meme. Instead of lol they said kek. Once they realized kek was some kind of pagan deity they latched onto the idea to power their ‘meme magic’.
Someone should chronicle that time period in internet history because it was a fascinating time to be in the swamp of 4chan.

As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, the District of North Vancouver deleted its account on the popular social media site X, formerly known as Twitter.
Officials shared that their decision is due to the website no longer aligning with its corporate values.
Moving forward, residents can still see updates on the district’s other platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc, or by going directly to the municipality’s website.
The post on X notifying its followers of the decision to delete the account drew some mixed reactions from residents, some agreeing with the decision to move away from X — owned by Elon Musk — while others questioned the impact it will have on civic engagement.

Essentially he apologized for the fact checking disaster.
One side of the political spectrum has lost a right it thought it had to create the rules of engagement, so now there will be drama as balance is restored.
Musk, I think, just showed that we are no longer bound to a moral compass dictated by some members of society. The Ten Commandments have been pretty good for 2,000 years and only in the last 25 we think they’re no longer apropos? Nah. We’re good. One side of the political spectrum doesn’t have the right to dictate what is and isn’t right.
And for the record, I think that was a dumb stunt he pulled. But I don’t drive a Tesla so it really has nothing to do with me.
