Glad to see they've removed the power pole along Millstream, they'll make it 2+ lanes all the way from Treanor. Sidewalks too, pretty amazing stuff!

Looking for spot to grab a coffee and a cone for the kids while you’re getting your oil changed?
A Starbucks, Dairy Queen and Great Canadian Oil Change are part of plans for a development at the corner of Millstream Road and Treanor Avenue in Langford. The three businesses on the three-acre lot make up the first phase of the project and should be completed by fall 2019, said Phil Leedham, project manager for Metropolitan Capital Partners, a local real estate investment company.

Looking back on this thread I'd like to point out the traffic issues around the overpass have now been fixed. You know how they did it? They didn't build a bus lane or a bike lane. They built a new road.

^ Do you mean the TCH overpass at Millstream/VMP? Which new road fixed the traffic issues?

Not that I support bike lanes, but Langford is pretty much a car dependent area

There is absolutely nothing wrong with bike lanes done right and carefully. We want people to be safe on the road

So is Sidney but only langford seems to be singled out by anti car activists for some reason

That's odd, I always thought Langford was doing alright for cycling infrastructure. All those new roads seem to include bike lanes too.
EDIT: Actually I guess anti-car is not the same as pro-cycling, so the cycling infrastructure may have nothing to do with it.
