Is a pickleball court different from tennis?
Very small skate park behind the tennis bubble from around 2004 used to be a tennis court self practice wall.

I’ve always thought Willows Beach was overrated/crowded. Need to dump tons of good sand between Queens Park and Haynes Park.one man’s violator is another man’s freedom fighter.

Apparently things weren’t going well: “Visitors to Willows Beach violate parking rules”: https://www.vicnews....-parking-rules/
That's what happens when you close off parking in a park I guess. Folks park in front of other people's houses. Probably will happen with Beacon Hill. That's what I plan to do.

“This is very important land and foreshore for all Lekwungen-speaking people, both for its history as a village site and for its connectivity to TI’ches, our islands immediately offshore. We appreciate Oak Bay’s efforts at a government-to-government relationship but much work remains, and this is a start of building that relationship,” Songhees Chief Ron Sam said in a statement.

I don’t really understand that statement. Hundreds of years ago the First Nations might have had some connection.
But I see no evidence of that today. I also don’t understand the mention of Lekwungen-speaking people. How many do they number? A dozen?

Travelling trailers popular with Willows Beach visitors
Odd. In summer maybe I'll just pull my trailer into 5 parking stalls and sell lemonade at the beach.
