Thanks for the comments. We dont have enough shows allocated between now and the election to get everyone in and our format isnt really platform focused, more a chance for listeners to get to know a candidate in a relaxed non confrontational way. I would suggest most candidates PR people wouldnt allow them to join us as we dont provide up front questions and there is very little effort to keep to a theme. My goal since starting 29er Radio 10 years ago was and still is to strengthen community through honest conversation. Think cocktail party, meeting new person and that sinking feeling you get when both your drinks are done and you know that most likely when you go to refresh, the conversation will be over, leaving you with the thought, "Damn that person was interesting" We have Marianne Alto coming up and for fairness I have repeatedly asked Mr Andrew to join us, but to date he has passed on our invitation.
And as far as my political stance goes, I will bastardize an old Beatie Boys line, "if you think, Vote, and if you Vote, think"
