Is it just me, or is it getting harder to find the fall bus 'schedule' each year? Usually boxes of fresh schedules have been dropped off at the public library branches, especially the main branch, City Hall, and perhaps other public spots I've not noticed, and they're in very plain evidence on bus dashboards and such.

I take the bus way less often since the fare's doubled (you cannot return on a short outing using your transfer -- what's up with that?). They dropped it due to abuses from those who held onto a year's worth of transfers, but all transfers are fully dated so that abuse potential's gone. I sincerely do wish they'd return to allowing round trips for $2.50. I mean, $2.50 x 2 = $5.00 and we're approaching the costs of a car round trip to a shopping center with free parking for some of us.

Sure, there's their website to wade through in search of schedule info, and yes, I realize the schedule briskly gets out of date as timings shift and route changes are modified. Still, I think new fall schedules being prominently availability is a key component of nudging people towards trying and using our bus system.

ps. At least recently they've come out with a $5.00 "day pass", not so terrible a value if you're going to be on the bus all day doing errands.

What planet are you from?

If you think that a car round trip to anywhere is $5 then I'd be more than happy to educate you on the cost if fuel, oil, insurance, parking, maintenance as well as a host of other costs.

You seem to have a theme going on this forum where you want everything but don't feel you should pay the going rate

You mentioned the other day that to avoid paying fôr sewage infastructire people should sell their properties.

Now you are moaning and drooling about a measly 2.50 for a bus ride which comes with a transfer which is usually good for more than one hour

I suggest you just do what your name says you are and just be a walker
