I'm with a theater group that's currently seeking 34 million dollars to build a 800 seat theater on a floating barge just on the other side of Discovery Island.

We do all mime theater, but we'll let other folks with different talents use the new floating theater we're building.

We're all pretty excited about getting this going, and we're seeking an "angel donor" to give us ONE MILLION DOLLARS ... with the 33 million left after that to be picked up entirely by the three levels of government.

Who wants to donate $100.00 to get their name on a seat in the our new floating theater?

(BTW, how you get to the theater for a show is your problem, we can't do everything for you)

No I've worked with PCP in the past, I know the campus well and its definitely not them - unless in the meantime they've installed CCTV systems, surrounded the property with a dual chain link fence, hired guards and demand picture ID before entering the premises :).

Interesting since once onsite at W-H the facility was repeatedly referred to by officials and inmates alike as the "theatre"; it looks like a theatre, sounds like a theatre and if in fact its a gym it must take a lot of manual labor to transform it into what looks, sounds and feels like a theatre, including the first rate and very expensive pot and stage lights and sound system. When we attended there were between 125-150 people watching this play.

That high school out on Halliburton has a really, really nice theatre!

Orchestra pit and everything.

Semantics... but if it's used to put on theatre, you get to call it a theatre. And, a lot of the gear that goes into turning spaces into performance venues is pretty slick and goes up fast – think of the 20+ semi-trailers for "Walking With Dinosaurs" at the arena, that went up in just one day.
