Crestview - Rooms & Pub

^It's a pretend pub but I still bet its Yelp and Urbanspoon reviews are higher than what was there before.

Crestview Pub...with a new front door that is more in keeping with the rest of the building.

Maybe it would just be simpler to rename Oak Bay to "Gracepoint".

You hear about money being spent here during filming.
I was talking to a shop owner this morning from Abbra-Kid-Abra and she told me someone came in and bought a few hundred dollars worth of toys for use as props for an upcoming scene.

Filming was going on at Clover Point today, in spite of freezing temperatures.
Has a body been found?

I talked to a guy organizing all the trucks as the parked a couple nights ago and he said that there is no filming going on at Clover Point. It is being used as a parking lot for all the trucks and equipment. Apparently this is called a 'circus' in film lingo.

They were filming at the "turret" stairwell down to the beach. I think overnight parking is still at the Oak Bay Marina nightly.

It must really suck being a celebrity when you cant even go for a beer and look at some young skin without someone coming up and asking if they can stick a camera in your face for a picture.
He looks like he walked into a few too many brick walls.
What a mess.

In fairness, he looks a little more chipper in some of the photos he is in with the dancers.

Oh come on, he posed for the picture and told the photographer that he did not care where the photo went. I'm paraphrasing here, but he said something along the lines of "I'm 73 years old and a big boy, and a Hollywood veteran, I can assure you I'm not concerned about photographs".
I'm surprised that some people are horrified by celebrity pictures. Most famous people have a personality type that likes the attention, and they have certainly come to understand it's part of the job. It's certainly a large part of what has made them rich. That's how Hollywood works, if you are not famous, you do not get paid well.
