It's called smart growth. That house is in walking distance to everything Langford has to offer in the way of shopping.

There are actually two houses under construction at the end of the street. I agree it's smart growth, and use of space that would otherwise be wasted, and better than sprawling outward even further (which is kind of moot, given how much sprawling is going on). But would I want to live there? Hell, no. My ideal home is still something with yard space, with room for a garden, privacy and quiet (I can dream). I would be extremely uncomfortable being so close to a public sidewalk, and I imagine traffic noise would be a serious issue. It can be a good house for someone, but not me. I can't imagine sitting on my lawn (or ecofriendly not-lawn) and reading a book on Sunday afternoon, not in that location.

They're actually nice houses. The designs have nothing "Langford special" about them.
Know it all.

Ressen. Really appreciate the shots of the western communities. It's tough to make the time to take pics, especially if it means a someone has to drive out there.
Thanks.
Thanks.
