How is the material quality? Are the suits properly tailored? Have you had to get alterations done upon suit delivery, and how did the $75 tailoring credit work? Are there any drawbacks to ordering from them?
For those who may not know Indochino is a locally started online suit store and they've had quite a bit of success, it seems, by offering completely customized and tailored suits in colours and styles hard to find through traditional suit stores.

The second friend claims the suit fit correctly upon receipt and he wears it all the time and it's the best suit he's ever had. I believe all his other suits were from moores fwiw.
I can't speak to any other aspect of their operations except to say my impression is they are a low cost custom option. And you'll probably get what you pay for. Let us know how you like your suit if you get one... I have often considered purchasing one.

The prices on their website are pretty attractive, that's for sure.

I got suits made when I was in Vietnam a few years ago and they are fantastic. They fit mostly the first time I tried them on, and perfectly after an alteration appointment in Hoi An. I got measured I would assume the same way they tell you to measure yourself online. I think I paid about $120 for the jacket and $65 for pants made of a quality wool/silk blend. If you factor in all the service, profit, and shipping their prices dont seem unreasonable to me.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
I had heard before that a great place to buy suits is in Vietnam and in Thailand. Is Vietnam where Indochino has their suits tailored?
I mean what's attractive about Indochino is they offer a couple dozen fabric styles to choose from. The price is only marginally better than a suit at the Bay ($500-$600) but they also include tailoring, something the Bay's price does not include. For ~$550 I think I can risk having one suit made and if it's your first order they say they'll do everything they can to make it right, but I don't want to end up with something that I can't ever wear even after additional alterations (I've read that a few people have experienced this issue but who knows what the ratio of satisfied buyers is to unsatisfied buyers).

If you do order one, please report the results. I've been tempted to give them a try myself.

Indochino's products are made in China (Shanghai I believe) but the company started in Victoria and is now HQ'd in Vancouver.
I've ordered a few suits and slacks from them. Had minor adjustments made to the first one which was easy to do and those changes were logged in the system, so that when I ordered another one it did not need adjusting. The quality is definitely greater than that of a similar priced suit here. If you're interested I'd give them a chance.
I have also ordered a few shirts from there which fit very well but since then more competitors have begun releasing reasonably priced slim-fit options that are easier to iron and come in a wide range of styles.
