Well if you can pull in a few hundred grand tax free over the next month or two because everyone else is shut down then it may be the best money you would see in the business after legalization anyways.

Well, here we are only 7 1/2 hours until legalization and for the life of me I can't find the website that will be selling it online for BC. 

 

Does anyone have the link? I know the site is not live until midnight, but the site must be up and running and set up to pre-register?

Hmmmm, that’s per gram, yes?
Right now, for comparison, I’m paying $6.60 for a gram of ‘house weed’ (like house wine, it will do just fine) bought privately; $8.50 for a gram of weed marketed by the dispensary as ‘platinum;’ and $10.60 for a gram of their top-of-the-line ‘private reserve,’ though those are bulk-buy prices by the ounce or half-ounce. No tax. No postage.

Interesting, that is much cheaper than I had been lead to believe it would be.   So you get 30 grams for about $245, shipping and GST/PST included

a lot more than that - a decent joint is about 1/3 of a gram, this should be enough for about 100 joints

I really know nothing about Marijuana other then I hate the smell of it.  But I am curious about oils, edibles and that sort of thing.  The province says 88 different products to chose from will be on the site.

with what i know edibles will not be sold for at least another 6mnths to a year... it's a whole different set of regulations to deal with and they are concerned about edibles looking like kids candy (aka gummy bears and lollipops) i think you can still buy the oils to make your own edibles though

It will be a bit different to stiff the Province than it was to ignore Helps' pathetic licensing regime.

Ahh............But this becomes a Revenue Canada Agency monopoly now as far as taxes go to pot retailers. Or at least in 3 hours from now it does.  O wait, New Found Land has already entered into History cause of their time zone.

 

Don't mess with the CRA. Trust me, been down that road and you would not believe the POWER they have, and the things they can access.
