What ever bicycle part recycling center or impromptu housing space or street-side pharmaceutical distribution point is operating in the city limits this week?

Just at the bottle depot turned a blind eye to a few things let me tell you. You know you’re gonna have a good time at the bottle depot when you pull up and the rastafarian music is blasting you always make a difference when you recycle peer counselled some other customers think we got to a good place.

isn’t trees selling illegally right now?

presumably whenever pot in food becomes legal it will be in many / most restaurants. but the health inspector will have issues to work out first.

but 2020 seems optimistic.

Are cannabis-infused food items currently legal for sale to the public or is this another case of the CoV sanctioning something that has not yet been fully approved?

AFAIK, Island Health's ban on edibles is still in effect; although I can't speak to how it plays in the sandbox with federal and provincial weed legislation.  What a flustercuck.

My understanding is that this will be a normal restaurant until such time as edibles are permitted. Federally I think we’re looking at October.

i’m just not sure how the health authority will allow edibles that soon in restaurants. an entire regime will need to be brought in to deal with minors eating things wouldn’t they.

and once it’s in place most every progressive restaurant will offer pot food. so you don’t need to specialize.

Pardon my ignorance, but are cannabis-infused restaurant meals meant to be medicinal? Is it the equivalent of McDonald's adding Ritalin® to its Happy Meals?

Why wouldn’t it just be the same as a pub selling food? Just make the place 19+ and police it just like we police booze now. The LCRB already has us checking for signs of cannabis intoxication.

Does a pub put the alcohol in the food?

No, they put liquor in a glass and you consume it. What’s the difference?

how does staff or the police know if you are having pot?  it's a bit trickier with food.  and your insurance company might also have issues.

Even if we accepted that there was some medicinal value to cbd, the are open questions about dosing, interactions with other ingredients and the impact of boiling/frying/cooking the oils with food.

Signs for intoxication are similar to that of booze. The current serving it right will cover this, and I’m assuming that training will be required for licensees just as it is now, with liquor.

It’s a bit trickier but not impossible.

Not sure what insurance has to do with this, places that sel liquor have no problems with insurance.

i guess i mean if insurance companies already have problems with people claiming food poisoning they might have more consternation about bad pot or pot overdoses.

They don’t have any concern over food poisoning or alcohol poisoning.
