Why would you send in your application now when if you just wait one more year you could just skip the whole public hearing process.

Hopefully we’ll see this project redesigned to include 18 story towers once the new OCP is enacted!

I did hear this job was supposed to go ahead but that was 6 months ago, maybe more. There are a lot of jobs in town sitting in limbo like this one. Sadly the construction market as a hole is slowing down and has been for awhile.

If this were an actual hole in the ground, the miss use of the word 'whole' would be a perfect typo 
.
Sure hope this doesn't sit as a vacant lot for too long. What does what is actually supposed to go here look like anyway? Should be some 12 storey thing IMO, not 6.

Yes, It's quite a massive land assembly. One would think, especially considering Saanich's new OCP, that they could build something far taller than the 6-storey proposal here.
