I really don’t mind the Big Mac. They’ve stepped up their presentation and the workers now put effort into making the sandwich look well put together.

I was at Chipotle in downtown Victoria on the weekend, and the food prep area was …just horrid. I walked out.

For what it’s worth, McDonald’s does a decent job of keeping their food prep area clean, but the same can’t be said about the fountain drink station/napkin/lid area on the public side. It’s usually in pretty rough shape.

The entire public side is always in rough shape at every McDonalds these days.

 

It also seems to me that in the past you'd walk in, right away you could see who the manager was, running things, making sure everyone is moving.

 

Now it's hard to tell who - if anyone - is in charge.

You're right. The cleanliness of their restaurants is sliding. I find that in most fast food places, though. Nobody seems to want to wipe down tables unless asked to do so.

I have not noticed that being a common problem, at least not in suburban fast food places. Maybe its more of an issue downtown.

It was in a crappy desert country.....  pun intended. The clean crappers were also very appreciated.
