Loveday polling so high is a shocker--more votes than Madoff so far.

Doesn't surprise me...he is getting the spill-off love from Isitt. It's the popularity of the latter gentleman that stuns me.

as a CUPE member at city hall, I know that Fortin, Isitt and Loveday were the labour endorsed candidates.

I wonder how Leonard is feeling about his "performance review" at this hour?

Loveday and Issit were also endorsed by Helps.  Nice to have endorsements from the two primary candidates!

But so were Kaye and Luton. I would have thought they would poll higher than Loveday based on track record and name recognition. I know he was giving good vibes with his youth and freshness but I never would have thought it would beat the labour-endorsed veterans.

Also shocked to see the huge drop for Geoff Young. He was top vote getter in 2011 but near bottom of the poll today.

While some of those who I voted for didn't win, this is a good day for democracy with the really high voter turnouts. Congratulations all.

Wow.  Did not expect either Helps or Atwell to get in.   This could be interesting for the region.

Shebib ran in many areas and probably made the difference for some candidates getting in or not.

I wonder if a candidate should be able to run in more than one riding?
