If people have time to write one or two sentences simply in support of this going to public hearing, you can do it here.

If time permits I will try and get a quick message of support off to Council.

Tafler is coming off as cuckoo for cocoa puffs as members of Victoria council:

Your quote from the article was one of the strangest things I have heard in my career in planning.....

@NParker, that's great.

What's truly amazing is that we have a former news editor behind the campaign of misinformation.

As such one can therefore assume that during Mr. Tafler's career the news he was disseminating was also tainted with extreme bias and misconstrued facts to suit a particular narrative.

Or perhaps he was just consuming too many "Cook Street Cookies"...

I've never had a cookie that had yeast in it so he's making this a baking fait accompli.

Councillor Isitt responded to me, the only councillor to do so. It's nice to receive even a little bit of acknowledgement from an elected official.

So they want the new businesses to go in the hole to fix their own perceived parking shortage, precipitated in some cases through parking variances they requested and received.  Asinine.

These dinosaurs have no idea how few people actually drive to CSV, and how much better the village would be by increasing the non-drive % of visitors.

Nothing expresses heartfelt passion for an issue quite like a form letter with the business' name and address scribbled in by pen...

Yes, a little higher than 70 I think.

Today, I count more than 200 letters in support, and many are from adjacent neighbours.

Cook street businesses are getting good at saying no. Having a hard time coming around to why I should say yes to supporting them when they keep saying no to things our city needs (housing, bike lanes)
