Saanich News reporting the first early poll results showing Colin Plant leading council and Hayes over Atwell.
Not sure how they are reporting these results before anyone else

Apparently if you’re at the polling station at the end you have a right to see the print out. Colin is getting printouts

Sidney Mayor just conceded....but something is super off about the numbers as council candidates that didn't campaign have been elected without so much as a pamphlet and are getting huge numbers. He is calling for an investigation already. This is what happens when we switch over to electronic Computer system to count the votes....Anything on computer can be altered by human means at the press of a single button. Something off about Sidney Count that makes no sense.

Guess Saanich residents really don't like slates going off Colin Plant's Tweets (or really didn't like Atwall and anyone who aligns with him). Kind of sad if Harper doesn't get in considering she pretty much just got her seat.

it's the official page, running a bloody annoying "video" where you seem to see more time on the amalgamation question and trustees than stuff people care about (mayor and council).
