Lights a bright idea for downtown Victoria alleys

 

A program called “Corridor of Lights” is brightening up alleyways in the downtown area. So far, 1,000 lights have been hung in Trounce Alley at a cost of about $8,000, said Downtown Victoria Business Association general manager Ken Kelly. Another 500 lights will be placed in Fan Tan Alley. -

I think you can do some really neat things with architectural lighting in an urban environment.  Nice to see them add some light and colour to the place.

This reminds me of how Piss Alley in Shinjuku, Tokyo is so well lit despite being 3 feet wide.
