Looking for the best freebie on your birthday in the Greater Victoria area. First of all, does anyone still offer such things? If so, what are some good ones. I hoping some people that may work at local establishments can give us the details.

Doesn't Denny's give you a free meal on your B-Day?

Adriana's Mexican restaurant gives you free dessert on your B-day. I know that some bars still give you a free drink.

It has a whole new look!

Although if that bar was in Victoria proper it would be breaking a bylaw (but not Provincial liquor rules).

True. The Old (Olde?) Forge used to let you spin the shooter wheel on your birthday. Those were the days. Now you are not even allowed to send a hot waitress out into the room with a tray full of shooters to push them on guys. All the hot waitresses are likely moving to Alberta.

Yes they do. But the free meal includes only the entree, and not your drink or dessert. We found that out the hard way.

Beggars can't be choosers. And of course, never look a gift-horse in the mouth.

Did you see the Free Hugs one for [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l53QBX6TxyU:97138]Vancouver/ UBC[/url:97138]? It's really well done, using colour and music to tell its story.

Canoe has a special, IIRC it's free dinner, with the purchase of two entrees. Not sure what qualifies as dinner, I'd assume it's one of the entrees.

Any updates?

Amrikko's in View Royal had a flyer for a free meal last year - I'm assuming it's still valid?
